The Ogun State Police Command assures all citizens that robust security measures are in place to ensure a safe and peaceful holiday. A comprehensive operational plan has been implemented, which includes increased police visibility and patrols at key locations such as the Sagamu Interchange, Long Bridge, Ijebu Ode-Benin Highway, Sango Ota, Idiroko, border towns, Alapako, as well as at financial institutions, places of worship, government facilities, tertiary institutions, and VIP protection zones. The Ogun State Police Command is collaborating closely with other security agencies to maintain law and order for the benefit of all law-abiding citizens. Given the expected influx of holiday visitors, uniformed officers will conduct stop-and-search operations in vulnerable areas to enhance safety.
