Governor Nasiru Idris of Kebbi State has enjoined Christians in the state to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice for harmonious and prosperous society as they celebrate Christmas.
The Governor during his Christmas message to Christians in the state urged them to reflect on the timeless principles and strive to embody them in their daily lives to spread love, compassion and goodwill to all.
He said the "Teachings of Prophet Isa (AS) Jesus inspire us to embrace selflessness and peace.
"I call upon the people of Kebbi State, regardless of religious affiliation, to continue offering their unwavering support and prayers for the government.
"I extend my warmest greetings and good wishes to all members of the Christian community in our beloved Kebbi state".
He added that their support is vital as his administration works tirelessly to ensure the safety, economic prosperity, democratic strength, and social stability of the state.
"As we come together to celebrate the festive season, let us also reaffirm our collective resolve to work towards a brighter future for Kebbi State.
"May the spirit of the teachings of Prophet Isa (AS) fill our hearts with hope, unity, and benevolence as we strive to build a more prosperous and inclusive society for all", he said.
