Fast Rising Actor, Adenike Animasahun Drops Bombshell… I Can Beg My Man For Sex

Adenike Animashaun has just completed her new movie titled Teniola, a movie Content she has described as a master piece that would correct vices in the society that border on marital squabbles, especially in some homes of renowned men of God.

According to the Ekiti State based Nollywood Actor, she said, “This is a project I believed would go places and it will better the lives of so many out there that are suffering in silence.

“Teniola is a true life story of a man of God whose quest to serve God made him jettison his responsibility to his beautiful wife. The Pastor at a point had no time sexually for the wife again and the woman did seek solace elsewhere and trouble began in the house that used to be peaceful.”

Adenike said many out there would gain a lot by watching the movie from how the trouble began and how the family was able to settle their differences and putting it behind them.

Her sojourn in the movie world dated back to a decade ago when she wrote a story meant for book publication but she later turned it to a home movie.

She said, “My quest for drama fell into place during my undergraduate days at the university. Being a language student, it’s paramount to take courses in drama, and we had drama classes almost all the sessions in school. One of my lecturers that handled the course was very good at it and this gingered my interest and here I am today. I have been in the industry for over a decade and to my name, I have five different movies.”

Her first movie she titled Imado had Nollywood Actors based in Ekiti as major cast and in quick succession, she came up with another one titled Ogun Odun. This time, fellow actors that are veterans in the industry were called to location and this gave her a facelift in her career.

Adenike said, “Having discovered the passion and my love for movie making, this propelled me to visit Lagos and I went straight to Odunfa Caucus to polish the talent in me. I met Sunny Alli who introduced me to Alhaji Yinka Quadri, and the whole of Odunfa gave me the necessary support I needed and the story has been a great one today.”

Reacting to how she has been able to manage her profession as a teacher-cum-actor, she said, “Acting is more or less a holiday job to me. I love teaching and part of my plan is taking it further than being a classroom teacher in a secondary school to a lecturer. So, this I believe would tell people how much I love teaching as a profession.

“Meanwhile, acting is like a passion- something I do anytime we are on long vacation. To God be the glory, I have been able to do well despite having it as plan B in my thought.”

She stressed further that taking her location to Lagos for her movie, Teniola made it a much bigger project than the rest four she had done before now. She said, “Having to feature top stars like Yomi Fash-Lanso, Yetunde Wunmi, Bukky Biola, Ladi Foarin, Silver Animasahun, Funmi Ladepo and others gave the movie more plans and better prospect than the previous ones from my stable. Teniola is directed by Lekan Oropo, and all these are wonderful people that made my coming to Lagos to shoot a movie for the first time an act to remember.”

Taking an insight into her new production, she said, “There is no crime if a woman begs her hubby for sex. I can beg my husband for sex, this is what many out there don’t do and in the cause of that, many have stooped so low sleeping with their security guards, neighbors and their drivers despite being married. This was Teniola’s mistake and it almost ruined her home before something drastic was done to safe the situation. Women should stop dying in silence, do what will prevent your home from collapse and protect the future of your children. Talking to one’s partner is the best remedy in today’s marriage. There is always a big gain in talking to one another in a marriage; this and many more are the reality in Teniola.”

The Ebira born actress said she picked interest in Yoruba language right from her childhood. “I am from Kogi state, I am an Ebira lady by birth but my parents lived and had all their children in Yoruba land, hence we were given names in Yoruba and along the line, I married and have children for a Yoruba man.”

Her next movie according to her is Afusa Olofi. She said, she will be going back to location soon to shoot this breath-taking movie that will rule the entertainment industry.

“Afusa Olofi is another big one coming from me. It is a story that will give people another phase of deceit, intrigues in an educative and entertaining way.”

  1. Good one. You are moving. May Cod journey with you in this industry. The very first time I met you, I saw the trait in you, and getting closer to you I was convinced that all you needed was a pedestal, a lift and the exposure. With Yomi there, you have just got the condiment to make you stew sumptuous. Nike, you are unstoppable.
