Leadership of NLC Women Wing gets Gov Bagudu N5m assistance

The Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved the sum of N5m assistance to the newly elected leadership of Women Wing of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Kebbi State chapter.

A statement by the special adviser to the governor on media,Yahya Sarki said this was contained in a statement signed by the acting Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena and made available to newsmen on Saturday in Birnin Kebbi.

It stated that the gesture of the governor was to enable the newly elected leadership of the NLC Women Wing embark on a number of activities including humanitarian visitation and organising training workshop to equip its members and acquire skills in various trades of human endeavor.

"While congratulating the new leadership of NLC Women Wing on their election, the governor also wished them a successful tenure beneficial to the society", the statement said.
