2021 IGANMODE CULTURAL FESTIVAL: OLOTA APPOINTS AARE DELE BANKOLE AS CHAIRMAN


The Arole Iganmode-Olofin and Olota of Otta, Awori Kingdom, His Majesty, Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege Ph.D (Lanlege Ekun II) has appointed Aare Dele Bankole as the Chairman for the 2021 Iganmode Cultural Festival.


In a statement signed by Prince Adeyemi S. Olusesi, the Secretary to the Olota of Otta, Awori Kingdom said the appointment of Aare Bankole as the Chairman, Central Planning Committee for the annual cultural event was informed by his vast, admirable, and entrenched interest in promoting the cultural heritage of Otta-Awori kingdom as well as fostering unity amongst her people.

Similarly, eight other distinguished and eminent personalities were also appointed as members of the Central Planning Committee.

They are: Hon Sherriff Musa, Chief (Mrs) Abimbola, Abina Dada, Mr Kunle Somorin, Prince Femi Fadina, Hon Nurudeen Akinpelu Aina.
Others are Chief Temitayo Idowu, Alhaja Kafila Orisile and Princess Adenike Akindele Eleku.

The appointees were enjoined to mobilize, harness, synergize ideas, integrate their wealth of experience and utilize all resources necessary to organize a world class 2021 Iganmode cultural festival.

HRM congratulates the entire members of the committee and wish them well in their new and selfless service to the development of Otta Awori community.

The Iganmode Cultural Festival is a historic and annual event dedicated to promoting and exhibiting the exquisite culture and tradition of the Aworis at large. It is equally significant as as a medium to pray to our ancestors for the continuous economic viability, peace, and political order in Aworiland, Ogun State, and Nigeria at large.
