Oyin Elebuibon places curse on colleagues in Yoruba movie industry... claims they want to ruin her

“Those behind the story that Lateef Adedimeji is the father of my child were some senior colleagues in the industry that believed they were my senior and had the right to know everything about me. These set of people were angry because they didn’t meet the man I had my son for, and being away, they thought they could get at me by cooking stories.”

This was Oyinkan Elebuibon's reactions as posted on her Instagram page on the story making waves that she is hiding her son away from Lateef Adedimeji, a colleague she had the baby for having relocated to America.

She said, “Popular actor, Lateef Adedimeji is not the father of my child, Oba, The genesis of this problem and the news making round that I had a baby for him was caused by some stupid, useless Aunties in the industry that were out to ruin my marriage.”

Oyinkan said, “The useless Aunties in the industry whose lives are in jeopardy believed they should know everything about me. Must I show my husband to everybody, and is it a must I display the pictures of my son on social media. When these are not happening, hence they took to social media via a gist blog to bastardize my name not considering that I am married to a man, and I am also a mother to a wonderful child.”

Oyin recalled amidst tears that she had to run for her dear life having been attacked by his gateman, a Fulani man who organized his kinsmen to attack her when her husband returned from USA with a car gift for her.

She said, “The Fulani man's name is Sanni, when my husband returned from the State with a car gift for me, the useless Fulani man that used to be my gateman arranged with his fellow herdsmen to invade my house. I was helpless; my personnel assistant, a lady was raped, they wanted to rape me too and in the cause of resisting them, I sustained several machete cut on my body.

“That day, I couldn't recollect how I managed myself to the hospital. It was when I got to there that I discovered I was pregnant. I had to relocate to join the father of my unborn child then in 2018, I didn’t leave Nigeria happy, I was chased out of my own country and the Police too did not help me. They took advantage of the situation by extorting money from me and even tried to sleep with my staff that was raped.

I had to leave everything and came to US. Lateef is one of the successful actors we have around and with his status, how could I separate him from his child if truly he is the father. Those peddling this bad rumour did not even care about the father of my baby and his family. The rubbish some stupid Aunties are spreading through their accomplice in the media could get me into trouble with my husband’s family. They might be wondering if the child is truly theirs.”

"Lateef never knew I was pregnant, it was on my birthday that he called to wish me happy birthday that I told him I was in the hospital that I just put to bed. He is a good friend to me but we are not dating and he is not the father of my baby.

Oyin has called on the Aunties she said were after her to desist. She said, “I know most of you are settling down into marital lives but let me assure you this, you will never enjoy that marriage because you are out to ruin me. Why should someone be concerned to know my husband. If I chose not to display my son's face to the public should that be someone’s problem. This is orchestrated by some never-do-well in the industry, some useless Aunties, that will never have good story to tell in their lives. Lateef is my friend and nothing more. I am happily married and my child is doing fine.

Oyinkan Elebuibon, is a Nigerian Actor, and the daughter of a popular Ifa Priest and veteran Actor, Chief Ifayemi Elebuibon.
