Monday 27th July will
witness a new dawn in the entertainment scene with the release of a new album STAND
OUT by Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere, a.k.a Oba Asakasa.
Having done so many albums
that really made him a force to reckon with, Obesere's kind of fuji is cool, electrifying
with beats and lyrics that would always make music lovers want more, especially
the dance away part of his rendition.
To many music lovers, with Abass Akande Obesere
there is no dull moment once he takes off, his beats, slang, stage coordination and percussion are his joker amongst his peers.
Papa Tosibe in his reaction as regards the new album said, We have been working on this fantastic album for the past 7 months and I am happy that we now have what my fans will be proud of. It is historical; dance-able, different football fans too would feel people's perception about their club out there and at the same time the album teaches morals.
The 2nd track is also
about the controversy on who truly created or started the fuji music. In all, I
am assuring my fans and all music lovers, that this is the best album for the
season. Kudos to all my crew and my chairman, Okiki films on this. We are
surely an unbeatable team"
Also, in a chat with the chairman of Okiki film's, Chief Sunday Esan said: "This is a blockbuster. I have been in this business for so long and I have listened to all Obesere's albums and I can also categorically state that, PAPA has not done any album, that will be able to match this. This is deep, very lyrical and also dance-able. Papa was at his best, using his "Asakasa" style. I am sure Papa is vehemently announcing his return in a big way and I am happy to be part of this from the inception of the album till date."
Obesere's versatility in the music industry has really earned him different names. Many of those names were premised on his prolific nature in his trade. Amongst his names are, Papa Tosibe; Ologbojo, Iberu-Sido-phobia; Alasakasa, Paramount King, Oodua fuji and many more.
Meanwhile, as Muslims
prepare for Ileya festival in a couple of days, different Islamic soul lifting albums from notable Islamic Acts would be released from the stable of OKIKI FILMS AND RECORDS for the benefit of Muslims and other music lovers.
