Composer as he was fondly called was among the top fuji acts whose music was well applauded in the 80s upward 1990s and 2000.
He was one of the executives of Fuji Musician Association of
Nigeria, a body that consists of all practicing fuji musicians in Nigeria.
Ayinde Composer was the General secretary of the association for many years.
Gani Composer was from Ibadan where he practiced his fuji music.
According to a Lagos based fuji Act, Alhaji Kabiru Olanrewaju Akanni a.k.a Baby
Barritser, he said, "I am on my way to Ibadan for his burial, Being a
Muslim, there is plan for his burial already."
He also confirmed that Ganiyu Composer has been sick for over a
month and passed on earlier today.
"He shall be bury according to Islamic rites, possibly
today while our Association (FUMAN) shall give out details of his burial
activities soon."
