GHANA NATIONAL, AN ALLEGED CULTIST KILLED IN LAGOS *THREE MORE DEATH AS RIVAL RETALIATES

People in Mile 12 area of Lagos are still in fear as two rival cult group; Eiye and Aiye in the area are after each other leaving about four people dead in the mayhem.

Pandemonium broke out on Thursday evening when one Childlike Richmond Zoto, a Ghana national, a suspected cult member of Aiye was hacked and shot to death around, Oniyanrin area of Mile 12 in Kosofe, Lagos.

According to an eye witness, he said, “Richmond a.k.a Shally was a Furniture maker in the area; nobody knew he could be part of such deadly gang. His death was like a planned work because immediately he came out to attend to someone who came looking for him; another person emerged from nowhere and stabbed him on his head. It was a hot chase from Ilaje Street where he was attacked to Oniyanrin. He did try to run away, but they chased him and hacked him to death around Oniyanrin area with several gun shots on his body with his intestines popped out from his stomach.”

Richmond corpse with his intestines out was left on the road for over 24 hours before it was moved away by security men from Mile 12 police station.

confraternity; people in the area have been living in fear. We learnt that two members of the rival cult group were killed yesterday and another one killed today putting the area in total fear for those living around Agiliti and Mile 12 area of Kosofe in Lagos.

A police officer who claimed anonymity said, “Actually there was a fight between cult groups in the area, we have made some arrest and investigation is ongoing”.
