The Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulated the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Ogun State Command, DSP Oluseyi B. Babaseyi, on his recognition as the Best Police Public Relations Officer for August 2026 by Online Editors.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Secretary of Ogun NUJ, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, the union commended Babaseyi for his professionalism, accessibility and commitment to maintaining effective communication between the police and the media.
The NUJ, on behalf of its Chairman, Comrade Akinwale Olanrewaju, and the entire leadership and members of the council, described the recognition as a reflection of the PPRO's dedication to duty and his contribution to police-media relations in Ogun State.
The union expressed delight over the achievement, describing it as well deserved, while wishing DSP Babaseyi greater success in the discharge of his responsibilities.
