Media guru and highly respected on-air personality, Jọlaoluwa Afọlabi, famously known as J.J. Jabulani, is hosting an elaborate 90th birthday celebration for his mother, Mama Maria Ibipeju Afọlabi.
The birthday bash is scheduled for Friday, April 25, 2025, at No. 1 Ebute Road, Unity Hall, opposite Indomie House, Lau Junction, Ibafo, Ogun State. Many eminent personalities and figures from the media are expected to attend this momentous event.
Mama Ibipeju is a successful businesswoman who traded in kolanuts and gold in the 1980s. She is married to the popular pastor of the C&S Church Worldwide, Most Senior Apostle Samson Ọlayiwola Afọlabi, from the revered Odofin Compound in Iree Town, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State.
She is blessed with many children, including ace broadcaster and media owner Afolabi Jolaoluwa Jabulani, who is her youngest child.
Mama has a deep love and passion for gospel music, which has inspired her to use the ‘SHEKERE’ in praising God to this day. This unique expression of worship has earned her the nickname “Iya Sekere.”
