Forum Lauds Gov Idris's Achievement On Roads, Agric, Education

The Kauran Gwandu Achievements Forum has commended Governor Nasir Idris on his achievements on road construction, agriculture and education development within the one year of his administration. 


Chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Armiya’u Usman during a press briefing at the forum’s office, Rafin Atiku in Birnin Kebbi said the Governor has done people of Kebbi State proud with the projects he initiated and completed within few months in office."This is the first time Kebbi State people can witness meaningful development since its creation in 1991", he said 


He added that the group had always been at the vanguard of good governance, growth and development of the Kebbi State communities. He said "We are well focused as active supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi and at the national level".


He said the achievement recorded within one year by the governor includes, the multibillion Naira city roads dualisation in Birnin-Kebbi metropolis and other major roads across the state, the beautified roundabouts and the dualisation of NNPC Mega station from Birnin Kebbi to Ambursa Airport junction road and those in the four Emirates of Yauri/ Shanga and Koko/Mahuta- Dabai road.


He also recorded achievements on the intensive repairs, renovations and construction of schools across the state and payment of bursaries to state indigenes studying within and out side the country and free distribution of fertilizer, solar powered water pumps, insecticide, herbicides and other inputs free of charge to farmers.


He said the forum would continue to render it's support to Governor Idris and President Tinubu's administration for more dividends of democracy that are being enjoyed by the people of Kebbi State. It said the group would also accord greater support to the government in all it's policies and programmes.


"We are happy Kebbi people are living witnesses to the unprecedented performances of Governor Idris in various sectors of the state's economy and his efforts to develop the state capital to the admiration of the citizens, friends and well wishers" , he said
