Kebbi Gov's CPS, Ahmed Idris Receives Prestigious Award

Kauran Gwandu Mouthpeace, a

Non Governmental Organization has presented award of excellence to Alhaji Ahmed Idris, the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State.


While presenting the award to him in Birnin Kebbi, chairman of the association, Abubakar Mohammed Abk said the NGO decided to honour him because of his hard work and dedication to duty.


He said "We want to proudly make it clear without mixing of words that he his the best press secretary of our time, in view of his simplicity, humility and sincerity.



"Alhaji Ahmed idris is performing his duties according to the ethics of his profession, hence the decision of Kauran Gwandu Mouthpeace to honour him with an award of excellence".


He called on other press secretaries to the governors to emulate idris in discharging their duties with all sense of committement, efficiency and diligence.


In his response, idris expressed appreciation for what he considered an unexpected honour to him, his family and the entire journalists in the state.


He assured that the gesture would stimulate him to sustain the good work of promoting government policies and programmes for the benefit of Kebbi State. 


He said the administration of Comrade Dr Nasir idris was committed to improving the welfare of the people and providing job opportunities to the teeming youth in the state.


The governor's media aide also assured of the government readiness to assist and support associations that are promoting activities of the Kauran Gwandu's administration.
