It was a new dawn in Lagos State Tampan Chapter on Wednesday, when one of Nigeria's ever busy businessman, Mr. Raphael Datuowei was conferred with the First ever Lagos Tampan Global Ambassador.
The brief but colorful ceremony took place inside the prestigious Radio Lagos Multipurpose Hall, LTV Complex, Ikeja.
The New Global Ambassador, was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Joy Datuowei and some of his friends.
Tampan Lagos State Chapter Governor, Mr Dele Ayobiojo, read his speech, where he went down memory lane to inform him about Tampan and her Living Legends, the BoTs and the current Global President.
He went further by giving him a mandate of what is expected of him as a widely travelled man, which includes, among others connecting Tampan Lagos State Chapter with Films Productions, International Exhibitions and Marketing that will boost the industry.
In his response, Mr Datuowei promised to do his best by not disappointing the Association.
Key members that were present at the ceremony, besides the State Executive Council Officers, were Mr. Anthony Ogundimu Ara, Dr. Yemi Amodu, Elder Yinka Alalade, Hon. Yinka Awotubo and other distinguished members.
