Women Engineering Technologists To Hold Seminar In Abuja

The Professional Women Association of Engineering Technologists (APWET) has fixed  6th to 8th of March,2024 for it's seminar in Abuja.

According to the APWET National Chairperson, Umma Umar Jega , the seminar will hold at the Maryam Babangida National Centre For Women Development, Central Business District in Abuja and top professionals in the engineering sector of the country's economy are expected at the event.

Some of the top personalities expected as guest speakers at the seminar include, Engineer Margret Aina Oguntola,  President, Nigeria Society of Engineers, professor Sodiq Abubakar, the COREN President, Barrister Blessing Amadi, the deputy chairperson, Women Affairs and Social Development at the House of Representatives.

Others are, Dr Ifeoma Anyanwutaku, Permanent Secretary, Police Service Commission, Engineer Elizabeth Eterigho, Technologist, Stella Uzochukwu Denis, Technologist, Ogechi Okereke Ohbonna while NATE National President, Technologist, Dominic Udoatan will be the Chief host at the event.

Umma said the planned APWET's seminar would discuss the various contributions of women professional engineering technologists to the development of Nigerian society.
