A member of the Kebbi State House of Assembly,Dr Suleiman Abubakar Fana has hailed the Supreme Court's judgement which affairmed Governor Nasiru Idris"s victory in the 18th March 2023 Governorship Election .
While congratulating the Governor over his victory at the supreme court, the assembly member representing Dandi Local Government Area of Kebbi State in an interview with journalists in Birnin Kebbi said he was extremely delighted by the ruling of the apex court declaring Governor Idris as the true winner of the election.
Dr Fana added that Dr Idris's victory was an affirmation of the mandate given to him by the good people of Kebbi State.
He said "I commend the Judiciary for their equity and courageous judgment. The judgement was a judgement for Kebbi people and democracy".
The lawmaker called on the oppositions to take the judgment as the will of God and join hands with Governor Dr Nasir Idris for the development of Kebbi State.
"I think it's time to come together to join Governor Idris in the various developmental projects started by his administration upon assumption of office", he said.
He stated that the projects started by the Governor is a clear indication of his administration's commitment to better standard of living of the people of kebbi State.
He called on people in the 21 local government areas of the state to support the administration to achieve it's developmental objectives for the state irrespective of their party affiliations.
