Gov Idris is committed to spreading infrastructural development -Abubakar Malam

The Special Adviser to Kebbi State Governor on Infrastructure, Alhaji Abubakar Garin Malam has assured that the administration of Governor Nasir Idris is committed to spreading Infrastructural development across the four Emirates in the state.

While addressing newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, the Adviser said the victory at the Apex Court had cleared all obstacles on the path of the Governor thereby making him concentrate more in providing quality projects that would have direct bearing on the lives of electorates who voted him into office besides the projects ability to stand the test of time.

"You are all living witnesses to the infrastructures he already put on ground despite the fact that his government was facing litigations at Tribunal and Appellant Courts. The State Capital township roads and the ultramodern Secretariat are multi billion Naira projects worth of mention and commendation because of the courage of our Governor in executing them not mindful of the cost". He said

The politician went ahead to say " No part of the state would be left out in terms of infrastructural development. We have seen projects in Birnin Kebbi and at the moment township roads were being laid in Yauri to solve the lingering problem of bad roads in the town. Very soon viable projects would be done in Zuru and Argungu and some urban and semiurban towns across the state".

On the deplorable Dabai-Mahuta-Koko road that seemingly defied solution, the politician said Governor Idris was working round the clock to ensure that the contract initially awarded to construct the road was cancelled due to his incompetence and be rewarded to a firm that would diligently and effectively do the job due to the socioeconomic relevance of the road to the people of Zuru Emirate.

Abubakar Malam said the dream of the present Administration was to bequeath a vibrant and developed state to the next administration in the next eight years when social amenities, roads, schols, hospitals, recreational centres amongst many other projects were professionally and qualitatively executed.

He then reminded the people of the state that they had no other home than Kebbi, he therefore called on them to support the present administration to achieve its developmental strides.
