Congratulatory messages have continued to pour in, celebrating the life and times of the MD/CEO of Mojiade Famous Nig. Ltd, Mrs. Maria Omojiade Osoh popularly known as M.Famous as she clocks 50 on the 19th of December, 2022. The Superb Lounge, Kololemlem, Accra, Ghana on the 20th of December 2022, played host to the events marking the golden jubilee celebration of the Edo State born businesswoman and publisher.
Described by all and sundry as a hardworking, dedicated, visionary and God-fearing businesswoman, Mrs Osoh is a woman of grace and poise who has scored many first in life and career. The celebrant is also a humanitarian of note. She is the brain behind Mojiade Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO) with a special focus on helping the less privileged.
Mrs Osoh who publishes Beads Catalogue, M.Famous Fashion Catalogue and other titles, says she is grateful to the Almighty Father, the Creator of the Whole World for making it possible for her to come this far in life. She thanked her numerous well-wishers who sent messages from all over the world as well as those who graced her birthday celebration. The celebrant also appreciated his immediate family particularly her children and loving husband, Chief Friday Osoh, whom she described as her pillar of support.
The Celebrant, Mrs Maria Omojiade-Osoh was born on the 19th of December, 1972 into the Family of Ijienereakhuemhen of Ekpoma in then Ishan Division, Midwestern Nigeria, now known as Edo State. She was the last born in the family of seven.
The young Maria grew up with her parents and attended primary and secondary schools in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria. Upon graduation from secondary school, she moved to Lagos in search of greener pasture. She took up a number of paid jobs in Lagos before eventually starting her own business. Among the businesses she ventured into was the business of newspapers and magazines distribution. Using the business name of M. Famous News or simply M.Famous, she became well known in the newspaper distribution/circulation circle in Lagos for her industry, honesty and dedication to duty.
Her pursuit of business did not deter her from furthering her education and improving herself. Accordingly, she got admitted to the prestigious Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Lagos State where she studied Mass Communication.
From being a newspaper/magazine distributor, she ventured into magazines and books publishing. Under the auspices of her company, Mojiade Famous Nigeria Ltd, she published several magazines including the now defunct, Dating & Marriage, Beads Catalogue, M.Famous Fashion Collection, Ultimate Fashion, among others.
Mrs Maria Omojiade-Osoh also delved into the business of sales and distribution beaded jewelries and fashion accessories and established a number of sales outlets in Ghana and Nigeria.
She is happily married to Chief Friday Osoh and the marriage is blessed with five children
