The Peoples Democratic Party,( PDP) in Kebbi State has organized a 2 day training for it's New Media Team ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Speaking to journalists at the venue of training, a chieftain of the party, Alhaji Sani Dododo who represented the party's governorship candidate, Gen Aminu Bande at the event said the training was to position it's new media team for the sensitization of electorates about PDP's program and manifestos ahead of the 2023 elections.
He said "We need to train our new media team on how to cover and report our program and manifestos to people of the state.
"Many of our candidates like Senator Adamu Aliero, General Aminu Bande, Garba Musa Maidoki, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi, Hon Muhammad Kabiru Suru and many others are achievers with track records.
"We need to let the state's electorates know what they have done for Kebbi State and what are their plans for them when they are supported and voted in the elections".
Dododo said the party is approaching its campaign period from 28 of this month and there was need to let the people know what PDP is, what it will offer them and it's plans for Kebbi State.
"We have plans to carry along all the media, print and electronics for our campaign. We need to train them ahead of the campaign because the world has moved from analog to digital.
"Our media team must be positioned to project the party to electorates in coming elections. People need to know PDP has a good plan for them in future if they voted it into power in Kebbi State.
"We realized we can do this better if we train our new media team and position them ahead of 2023 general elections", he said.
He enjoined the new media team to be focused, study the blue print of the party well and project it to the people during the campaign period for them to know what PDP is and what it will do for them if voted to power in Kebbi State.
