ACE ACTOR, SAIDI BALOGUN WINS ELECTION... ASSURES VOTERS A NEW DAWN FOR DEVELOPMENT

The Golden Movie Ambassadors Association of Nigeria (TGMAAN), an association of Nollywood movie makers with the vision of rebuilding, rebranding, and restructuring the Nigerian movie industry held its annual convention from the 26th to 28th of May 2022 tagged SHOWBIZ - Understanding the professional and business part of Filmmaking. The convention was at the serene ambiance of Ilaji Resort, Akanran village, via Ibadan, far away from the metropolitan noise and energy. The convention had a lot of capacity development sessions with lectures given by the likes of Peace Anyiam Osigwe (Founder, AMAA awards, and President of Association of Movie

Producers), Alhaji Adedayo Thomas (DG, Nigerian Films and Video Censors Board), Bimbo Manuel (Veteran Actor) and Barrister Abioye Akerele (Intellectual Property and Advertising guru). Members of the association had a rewarding experience listening to experts talk on the business of Filmmaking.

Election of officers into the executive of the association also took place at the convention where new officers emerge to steer the ship of the association. The new officers include:
