Born Stephen Abiola Oyetope Taylor to Late Mr. John Abimbola Taylor of the NTA and Mrs. Esther Ibidunni Taylor, a foremost compere in Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital.
Stevie attended the Chapel Nursery Primary School Ilorin, C and S college Ilorin and the University of Ilorin as well as the University of Lagos.
An economist turned cinematographer, OAP, and a voice-over actor.
He started his exploits even while in the University when he founded the "PLAYHOUSE UNLIMITED " with the likes of Adex Artquake, Kazeem Aderounmu, Aderonke Denloye, Iyabode Onilenla and his first single premiere of a stage performance as a full-fledged director was on wife battering. "Romancing the Stone" ( a poetic opera for the Kwara State Ministry of Women Affairs ) in 1998.
He worked briefly after graduation as the founding editor for the Y&W magazine (Kudirat Initiative for Democracy).
Stevie has written many poems, plays and shot several awards winning videos (musicals and movies) including Omoremi (a Stevie Taylor Expression) Mahuru, (Integrity films), Ramirami (Ekiti State Govt) Ejígbojó (a Stevie Taylor Expression) and voiced several distinct narrations, documentaries, and jingles in Nigeria and abroad.
