Having spent 27 good years in America projecting good African music, King Rokan is set to turn things around in the entertainment scene in Nigeria and in the Diaspora with his new album titled Corner Stone, featuring Atorise, Dare Melody, and the Adegbodu Twins. Rokan who was away from music because of the Covid19 pandemic which affected the world entertainment industry is ready with a new album. The album which featured popular Gospel singers namely Lanre Teriba aka Atorise ,Dare Melody and Adegbodu Twins is an eight-track album. Some of the tracks are “Awimayeun” featuring Atorise and Dare Melody,” Corner Stone”,”Kaabiyesi”,” Count your blessings featuring Adegbodu Twins,”Odun Eyi ,”Olorunrokan mo de”,Igbekele Eyan”, and “Oye” a hip-hop track. During the album listening party held at Presken Hotel, Lagos Rokan revealed that the album will be presented to the general public on 17, January 2022 at the City People Events center. The Oluaye of Georgia said the public presentation will feature Lanre Teriba ,Dare Melody, Adegbodu Twins, Abbey Awesome, Femi Solar,Dele Gold and Esther Igbekele. Rokan, in his address to Journalists at the listening party that the album will reshape the Nigerian music industry because it’s a combination of different genres of music: and each track comes with messages that are of good value to humanity.
