His Royal Highness, Oba Abdul-Wasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, the Oniru of Iruland has expressed delight at the visit of the General Manager of Eko FM and Radio Lagos, Mr. Olajide Lawal, and his management team with a promise to support the station as it grows.
The Monarch who is the 15th Oniru of Iruland, said this during the visit by the general manager and his staff while he described Mr. Olajide Lawal as an outstanding Public Affairs Officer of the Ministry of Agriculture when he was the Commissioner.
Kabiesi in his words also congratulated Mr. Lawal on his position as the new General Manager, while Oba Lawal, assured him and the team of his support and patronage for mutual progress.
Meanwhile, Olajide Lawal, the General Manager of Eko FM and Radio Lagos, during the courtesy visit to the palace commended the Oba for his leadership role and vision for Iruland.
He also stressed that the visit was to further encourage the propagation of the cultural values and traditions of Iruland.
He reiterated that the stations’ availability to partner with Oba Lawal and promote his vision on LeGit – “Let’s Grow Iru Together” remains a concern for the station.
The General Manager also said the station had rebranded its social media platforms to attract more traffic to the stations.
