Condemnation Trails Lai Mohammed's Reaction On ENDSARS Report As He Maintains No Life Lost

Different reactions have continued to trail the minister of information and Culture Alhaji Lai Mohammed's position over the Endsars report.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has reiterated his claim that there was no massacre at the Lekki tollgate on October 20, 2020.

Lai Mohammed said this at a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday, November 23, where he described the report as fake.

There has been a loud condemnation of this position as many see the minister's position as cruel and an act against humanity especially those lives lost during the attack at Lekki toll gate in Lagos.

A week ago, the Judicial Panel set up to investigate the Lekki shooting presented its reports to the Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

In the report, the panel described the shooting of unarmed citizens during a protest as a 'massacre' and indicted the Nigerian army and police.

Lai Mohammed however, described the allegations by the panel as “tales by moonlight”.
