Having done well in his career as a musician by propagating Islam through music, Alhaji Ahmad Alawiye has been honoured with an Islamic title, Zaenul Abroor, meaning Pride of Islam.
In his words, he said, “ALALUBARIKA' as a brand is an unstoppable moving train Allah has designed to be, Alhamdullilah. I sincerely appreciate everyone who has contributed in one way or the other to the achievements of this wonderful brand. And this is to inform the general public especially my fans that we have made it again!
His Eminence, Fodilat Sheik Abdul-Ganiy Abubakar Agbotomokekere, the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, the grand Imam of Oyo state, The grand patron, league of Imams and Alfas in Yorubaland, Edo and Delta have found yours truly Alhaji Ahmad Alawiye Najimudeen Alalubarika, Amir Shuarai worthy of being the Zainul Abrar of Oyo state, what a great honor!.
Alawiye was accorded this for being an indigene of Ibadan, and especially from the Najimudeen family (a renowned Muslim family in Oyo state) and for his support and efforts in spreading Islam especially in his hometown (Ibadan) through his music.
Alawiye stressed further that he appreciates Almighty Allah for being his source and resource since the journey started many decades ago.
