There is heavy security
operative at Freedom Park, Ojota, Lagos this morning to prevent any gathering or
protest as planned by Yoruba Nation agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo a.k.a
Igboho.
The police in Lagos on
Thursday had earlier said it would not allow any form of rally scheduled to
hold today July 3 by agitators of the Oodua Republic and Yoruba Nation.
In a statement by Muyiwa Adejobi, the Lagos police spokesperson,
the command said they are aware of the planned protest by Igboho and his supporters.
The Lagos State Police Command said it had warned that no rally
will be allowed, under whatever guise, in any part of the state.
