Bad Governance: Popular Lagos Cleric carries coffin in protest

Archbishop Samson Mustapha Benjamin, who carried a coffin to walk down the street of Resurrection Avenue and environs of Navy Town, Alakija, Satellite Town, Lagos to protest bad governance in Nigeria.

The General Overseer of Resurrection Praise Ministry International, also known as ‘Jehovah Sharp-Sharp, explained that God instructed him to carry the coffin as a symbol of his displeasure with the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration.

During the procession, Archbishop Mustapha Benjamin told newsmen that he was instructed to address political, religious and traditional leaders of Nigeria, just like God made the prophets of old to speak to the seat of power.

He stressed further that he is neither for nor against the Buhari administration but is displeased with the state of the nation and the present structure of governance in Nigeria.

The cleric noted that calls for secession from different quarters across the country should make President Buhari and his cabinet members consider the present realities, to determine the best approach to solve challenges in all sectors of Nigeria's economy.
