The culture of killing will desert North once a real President is born to rule Nigeria- Kayode Salako

I insist, nobody or President ever goes to war with the culture of a people and win easily, magically or at all.

To attack; to main; to harass for socio-political domination is the culture of the people of the Northern part of Nigeria. That is why to tie dagger around their waist is a way of life of that people. You can't go to war with the culture of the Ife or Benin people et cetera and ever win them.

Who they are is who they are. That is what the nature of the socio-cultural orientation of the people of the Northern part of Nigeria is all about.  Killing is a social sport and a way of life in the North. It is age long historical. The North has been killing before my great grand parents were born. And, it would continue to be like that until the North itself decides to do something about that culture or the North allows the rest of Nigeria to live the way the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria has stipulated it. Or we change this present political structure and arrangement.

Anything short of that, this is the way we would continue to get it from this present Nigeria and nothing much would ever change for the sanity and satisfaction of the rest of the people of Nigeria.

President Muhammadu Buhari has only been fighting a war on behalf of the rest of Nigeria with the culture of his people. And, that beautiful president, who would easily win that war is not yet born to rule over Nigeria!

The day I no longer hear that perennial high spate of 'deliberate' killings from that region, then I would conclude that beautiful president and his capable service chiefs are in charge to win the age long war for Nigeria!

I was just a little boy, when an uncle that was sponsoring my education was slaughtered along with his four male children during the Zango Kataf religious riots at Kawo Kaduna in 1989. They were labelled infidels, who deserved to die and the five of them along with many others were gruesomely murdered just like that. This was about 32 years ago and up till now I still hear the same gory stories of barbaric deliberate socio- political and religious killings coming from that part of the country.

What a culture!"
