Omije Ojumi reveals reasons she celebrates with the poor every 23rd of December...

Having lost her bus meant for her band three years ago, as Christmas was approaching, Bunmi Akinnaanu, a.k.a Omije Omi’s band has been blessed with a new bus.

Speaking at her annual Give and give Classy Praise Concert, that came up in Sango-Ota, area of Ogun State, Omije Oju mi revealed that God has been wonderful having toiled to procure another vehicle for her band three years after an accident that took the previous bus.

Akinnaanu, a.k.a Omije Ojumi in Sango-Ota, Ogun State as a means of reaching out to the poor in the society.

In her words, Bunmi Omije Ojumi said, “If you're worried about zero achievement since January, think of someone who achieved everything and was buried yesterday. On this premise, I will always cherish God and in my own little way, I shall always give back to the society, and this has been for the past five years. It is our fifth edition, that we have been feeding the less privileged on every 23rd of every December. God has been wonderful and He has been faithful, hence we have no choice than to serve Him through what He has given to us.”

Omije stressed further that, this year’s annual edition of Give and give Classy Praise Concert was graced by Abel Dosunmu, a.k.a Mega 99, Evangelist Ajidara, Evangelist Omotola known as Gbera, Teepraise, Sijuade, Evangelist Niyi Peters and many other notable gospel Acts in Sango-Ota area of Ogun State.

“What we normally do at the concert is having it done in public place with lots of people present, irrespective of religion, status and what have you. The main motive is to praise God and give out food and other things that would make Christmas eventful for them especially the down trodden ones.” Omije Ojumi said.

Also, she said part of her being grateful to God is the new vehicle her band has gotten having lost the previous to a serious accident three years ago.

“I give all adoration to God for the gift of life and the beautiful gift of a bus my band now has, it's been a while we lost our previous bus to accident and today, we have gotten a new one with the help of Almighty God, thus we shall continue to worship and celebrate Him.” Akinnanu posited.
