the late veteran as an authority in the world of make-believe. He said, “It is with great shock
that I receive the news of your demise, Professor Ayo Akinwale. Prof. Akinwale was an
authority in acting, directing and theatre criticism. A detailed
administrator and skilled performer; the arts community is indeed beleaguered. May God comfort your
family, TAMPAN, Unilorin community at this moment of sober reflections.

University of Ilorin said, “It is with great shock that I receive the news of
your demise, Professor Ayo Akinwale.”
