This was contained in a statement by Wahab Adeshina of Morakinyo Movie production, the man that played a major role in the making of Chatta, having joined his group many years back.
J.J.C as Wahab is well known said, “Today, Ibrahim is a super star whose talents could be likened to that of Gbenga Adeboye, having gotten the skills to play divergent roles in movie.”
Going down memory lane, Morakinyo movie boss said, “I could remember very well how we met in a town called Bacitta in Kwara state, he walked up to me after my performance and made his intention known to me that he would like to join my group. I took him in and I have never regretted that action.
He stressed further that, We lived together for like four years in my town, Shaare in Kwara state, before he suggested we move to Lagos to try our trade.
“Though I was once in Lagos before I relocated home and met him, so having a shot again in going back to Lagos wasn’t a bad idea, so I thought.
In Lagos, we ran into problem when one of my group members died, he got burnt during one of our shows, Ibrahim Chatta begged on the street so that we could raise money to safe the boy. He is a humble man tbat is always ready to sacrifice for others to be happy.
“We lost the young man, but amongst those I have trained, Ibrahim Chatta remains a very good product I can always give account of. May God bless him more.
Speaking on his multi-talents, he said, “The young man is blessed, a non-speaking Yoruba guy that could chant Yoruba poetry, acts and do so many things perfectly in a language of another tribe. To me, he is another Gbenga Adeboye of our time.”
Wahab Adeshina , a Yoruba movie producer has these to his names; Eru Olorun, Eje orisa; ile oojo; Aja Onibode; idajo okan; imule aje; eegun nileejosin; ojo isegun; Ta ni ade ori mi; orisa ijaya and a new one titled Aje Oloro to be out soon.
He is one of the top good actors in Ogun state where he is based now for his trade.
