MY LOVE FOR TIWA SAVAGE WILL MAKE ME WORK HARD TO WIN HER HEART- OKEOWO NIMI UPCOMING ACT, CONFESSES

His name is Okeowo, a youngster whose love for music has no bound. The passion to make a great difference in the entertainment scene in Nigeria even beyond made me considered studying music in school despite being blessed with the talent.

Okeowo did share his experience so far with us and why he would strive hard to be

 successful in life and then seek the hands of one of Nigeria’s best musician, Tiwa Savage hands in marriage.

 Unable to hide his love and passion for Tiwa Savage, upcoming hip hop afro artiste, Okeowo Nimi has revealed that his aspiration in life is to marry her even if she is above 70 years of age.

Nimi, knowing fully well that Savage is currently in love with someone else noted that he would work hard enough to become a superstar in the music world so that he could stand a chance to marry her.

Nimi, whose real name is Oluwasoji Okeowo Oyekola is from Oyo State; he has confessed that Tiwa is his celebrity crush, adding that come rain, come shine, he stands the chance to be her future husband.

He said, Tiwa Savage is not only my crush but also the kind of woman I want to be mine. I believe this could happen maybe in the future, I know for sure that I am an uprising artiste and she has already made it to the top.

“It might be difficult for this to happen, and I believe if I hustle hard and get my game on, top all charts in Nigeria, in Africa and beyond and become the most shout-out artiste. Nominated for MOBO awards, MTV Group headies, Afrimma and even Grammy, by then I know I will stand a chance to win her heart because I know she will not settle for less. So for now, I will just keep on hustling, then I may stand a chance of dating her and even marrying her.”

“Like I said I do not stand a chance now, I am still an upcoming artiste growing in the industry so I don’t think she will go down with someone like me, I don’t think so, but once I am on top of my game, I know I will stand a chance, even if she clocks 70 or even 80 years, I will still not give up my hope.

Speaking further, the graduate of Polytechnic of Ibadan, where he studied music stated: “Right now, I am single because all I can do is to focus on my music career and I don’t want any distraction so I decided to remain single. If you notice, that is how it is for every successful musician or entertainer,

“I mean look at the likes of Dbanj, 2baba, Psquare, Dr Sid, Funke Akindele, 9ice and so on. They did not get engaged or married until they achieved their goals or I should say until they got to the peak of their careers, they did not get married when they were about to rise. They made sure they got to the peak of their careers first before they did.”

“I am a musicologist, an artist, rapper, singer, songwriter, performing artiste composer, arranger, music consultant, voiceover artiste, beatmaker, music producer, studio/live sound engineer.

“I will say doing music for me is like a calling. It is a Yoruba heritage, I believe God created Yoruba people to entertain the rest of the world, another thing is that, out of all things that Yoruba people can do well, music is one thing we can do best,

“I mean why go into something difficult when you have something that your forefathers have been doing easily for centuries. Yoruba people are the most successful musicians that we have in the history of Nigeria and Africa music industries.’

In his reaction as regards the challenges over the years, he said getting someone to support him has been a very herculean task. 
"I mean no body to turn to for help, people are on their own saying all man for himself, I believe if I can see people that will support me in the industry I will definitely get to the top likewise family support and financial support."

I call my type of music afro hip hop/typical ibile basically, I will say I do African music and when I say African  music  it has to do with a lot of wonderful genres so my genre is under the umbrella of (afro)

The thing is I'm blessed sometimes I do R&B, pop basically God make music convenient for me let just say that?
