ANTI-PARTY ACTIVITIES: AMOSUN AND OKOROCHA MAY SUFFER EXPULSION

Having contested and won under the umbrella of All Peoples Congress, Governor Ibikunle Amosun and Rochas Okorocha of Imo state, yet, these two in-coming senators have been suspended based on allegation of anti-party activities.
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) took this bold step on Friday with a recommendation that the duo Ibikunle Amosun and Rochas Okorocha of Ogun and Imo states respectively should be expel from the party.
Reasons for their suspension and recommendation for expulsion may not be unconnected with their alleged anti-party activities.
It would be recalled that both governors have thrown their weights behind gubernatorial aspirations of candidates other than APC’s.
Details will follow shortly…
