Man proposes, God disposes says an English diction. This is the story
of Ibikunle Mayomi Felix, a.k.a Kunle Mayor, a banker turned juju gospel
musician.
Speaking on his venture into gospel music, Kunle mayor
started singing as a member of chorister at Christ Apostolic Church C.A.C
Oke-Isegun, Ikirun, Osun State in 1989.
Kunle Mayor’s talent was noticed as a result of his activities in
the church and he has been trained up to expectation up till date.
As a talented vocalist, his composition of songs speaks volume
like his mentors, Evangelist Ebenezer Fabiyi Obey and King Sunny Ade.
He has released 6 albums including the latest titled AKIRISORE
marketed and distributed by POPUSICO Music Entertainment, Lagos
Commenting on AKIRISORE, Kunle mayor said it was prompted because
of God’s faithfulness in his life which he has reasons to celebrate and express
gratitude to God Almighty.
Kunle Mayor is a graduate of Business Administration from Ladoke
Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso.
He presently combines singing with working as a banker.
