In grand style the governorship aspirant of All Grassroots Alliance (AGA) and members of his Campaign organization paid a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife-His Imperial Majesty-Oba Adeyeye Enitan  Ogunwusi for Royal blessings towards the September 22nd election in Osun State.

He also seized the opportunity to address a large audience felicitating with the Ooni on the Olojo Festival.
The campaign team also visited the Hausa Community at Sabo, Ile-Ife to address the Seriki Hausawa and his people.
Olufemi Kehinde in his words assured the people of the state his quest to make Osun state a house to all irrespective of ethnicity and it likes.
The All Grassroots Alliance Candidate while addressing the teeming crowd said; he is out to revamp the agricultural practice in the state, empower the youth with great involvement in agriculture in order to make Osun state one of the exporting states of agriculture produce in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

The former honourable member of house of representative and a lawyer of repute said, transforming some colleges of education to a university of learning shall be his government’s priority and working towards liberating Osun state out of debt and payment of outstanding salaries of workers and pensioners shall also be of great concern to his government.
Femi Kehinde launched out in 1987, by being elected a Councillor on a Zero Party platform to the Iwo Local Government on the 12th of December, 1987 to represent Ile-Ogbo Ward III in the Council, between 1987 and 1989.
In June 1989, he was the first supervisory councillor for works in the newly created Ayedire Local Government, when it was carved out of the old Iwo Local Government and was in office briefly, before the dissolution of democratically elected Local Government Councils in Nigeria.
In 1998, he was elected, member House of Representatives, National Assembly, Abuja representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-oluwa Federal Constituency of Osun State, on the Platform of UNCP. In 1999, he was also elected member House of Representatives, National Assembly, Abuja, representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency, under the Platform of AD (Alliance for Democracy) and was in the Parliament until 2003.
He was re-nominated by the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in 2003, to contest the Federal Election to represent his Federal Constituency, but generally, the Election was not favourable to the AD in the South-West.

Whilst in the National Assembly, between 1999 and 2003, he was a member of the following House Committees- Foreign Affairs; Judiciary; Solid Minerals as a subcommittee chairman; Population; Tourism and culture and others.
He was also a member of the Ad-Hoc committee on the Kashmir Crisis-India/Pakistan and was also elected member- National Assembly Constitution Review Committee (1999 and 2003.)
