The youths and people of Ojo constituency 2 have thrown their
weight behind, Alhaji Surajudeen Tijani a.k.a Emir as he picked the intention
form to run for the post of an assembly member at Lagos House of Assembly in 2019.
In a statement signed by Emir Support group in Ijankin,
under Ojo constituency 2 area of Lagos, the group has described the intending
House of Assembly member as a truthful and organized youth that will serve the people
with utmost loyalty once voted to represent them in the in-coming election come
2019.
“Tijani Surajudeen is
a graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University, a grassroots politician that believes
in the welfare and wellbeing of his people, creative and consistent towards
making life meaningful to people around him and entire humanity.” The group
said.
Having bought the expression
of interest form, Tijani in his words said, “My quest for the position of an Assembly
member is as a result of the great love I have for my people. My dream of a Lagos
state, where every citizen would have a sense of belonging, and the people at
the grassroots would have a voice of their own; where their interest and
well-being would be of priority to government all time.

He stressed further that, “I shall be going to represent
them as their servant not as a leader, and at every point in time, I shall
always make myself available to account and evaluate how far we have gone with
the task they have put before me.”
Different groups have been formed to garner support for him in
Ijanikin, Otto Awori and other areas in the constituency as preparation for the
primary nears.
