The Executive Chairman, Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Faruq Aliyu Yaro Enabo, has donated 62 Sedan vehicles, 225 motorcycles and 2 Toyota Lexus Jeeps to officials of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and stakeholders for the re- election campaign of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris in the 2027 general elections.
The vehicles were received and commissioned by Governor Nasir Idris at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, on Thursday, with a mandate to beneficiaries to deliver their localities to the APC at the polls.
Twenty one of the Sedan cars are allocated to Campaign Coordinators for the 21 local government areas of the State, while each coordinator of the 225 political wards in the state will take possession of one motorcycle.
Ten of the cars have been allocated to the campaign train of the Vice President, six to the three sitting Senators in Kebbi and nine to the serving eight members of the House of Representatives.
Kebbi State APC Chairman, Kana Zuru, and the Zonal Vice Chairman, Kebbi Central, Shehu Idris, took delivery of one Lexus Jeep each.
Two vehicles each, were allocated to the two wives of the Governor for campaign purposes.
Presenting the vehicles to the governor, Enabo described Governor Idris as his mentor and benefactor, who has improved his quality of life. "I'm highly grateful to you, this is just a token to reciprocate and strengthen our campaign for your re-election and that of President Tinubu, I will continue to do more", he said.
While commissioning the vehicles, Governor Idris expressed delight about the immense contribution of Enabo to good governance, and improving the operations of the Pilgrims Agency.
Governor Idris said "Enabo has done what others did not do. I'm saying it in clear terms, whoever benefitted from my benevolence must offer the requisite contribution to societal wellbeing and work towards actualising our common goal of continuity and excellence".
He added that whoever is in a position of authority or holding political/public office must help local communities around him and whoever he has helped should help others. "I'll sustain my support, compassion and assistance to all our inhabitants in urban centres and rural dwellers", he said.
He urged his supporters to gnore the antics of the opposition, which always specializes in mud slinging, saying he would continue to provide fertilizers and other agricultural inputs free to farmers no matter what the opposition says.
While presenting keys of the vehicles to the APC Chairman, Kana Zuru, and the Zonal Vice Chairman, Kebbi Central Shehu Idris, he said the donated vehicles will strengthen the efficacy of his campaign operations for the better, "I'm grateful to Enabo for the kind gesture", Idris said.
