Family members, friends and well-wishers on Tuesday gathered to commemorate the third anniversary of the death of Adijat Kubura Iyawo Anobi, who is remembered by loved ones as a devoted mother and pillar of strength.
In a tribute released by the family on April 7, 2026, they reflected on the enduring impact of the late matriarch, noting that her memory continues to resonate strongly three years after her passing.
According to the statement, the family still feels the absence of her presence and warmth in their daily lives.
“It has been three years since her voice last filled our home and her laughter warmed our hearts. Yet, not a single day has passed without her crossing our minds,” the tribute read.
They described the deceased as more than a mother, portraying her as a source of comfort, love and courage whose influence remains alive through the memories she left behind and the lives she touched.
