2,763 Groups Declare Support For Gov Idris

Two thousand, seven hundred and sixty three (2,763 ) political organizations have declared their support for the second term ambition of Governor Nasir Idris in Kebbi State.


The group led by the Director General of Kaura Organization( Kaura Kawai), Comrade Aliyu Haliru Bunza, while Briefing journalists in Birnin kebbi on Friday said they decided to support the governor for a second term in office

based on the achievements so far recorded by his administration in every sector of the state's economy.


It said "based on this administration's achievements so far we here by make bold to give a pass mark and vote of confidence on Governor Nasir Idris to lead the state till 2031. 


"There is no vacancy in Kebbi Government House in 2027".



The group in its address said it was a well known fact that Governor Idris's administration has done well in bringing progress and development to people of the state through the people oriented infrastructural, agricultural, health and educational projects initiated by the Governor.


It  commended the governor on the completion of Kauran Gwandu college of midwifery, mega schools across the four emirates, renovated primary schools, capacity building for primary and secondary schools teachers, provision of furniture, learning materials and scholarships to kebbi State students in tertiary institutions in and outside the country. It also lauded him for providing free JAMB forms to 2,000 vulnerable and 2,700 orphans and persons with disability across the state.


In area of agriculture, he said Governor Idris has established the state of art veterinary hospital in Birnin kebbi, provide Solar power water pumps,CNG pumps, power tillers, motorized sprayers, tractors and distributed 70 trucks of fertilizers free to farmers. "The state government has established fortified rice industry known as TAKALAU Rice in Takalau community and at Ngaski, Arewa and Dandi areas of the state", it said.


The groups gave pass marks to the governor in areas of health, road construction, electrification, women empowerment, commerce, tourism, mines and solid minerals development and animal husbandry.
