The Commissioner for Information Yakubu Ahmed Birnin Kebbi has said the achievements so far recorded by Governor Nasiru Idris in just few months surpassed those recorded by successive administrations in kebbi State.
The Commissioner during a media briefing at the government house in Birnin Kebbi said the collective impact of the transformative policies of the administration in critical infrastructure projects across the state undoubtedly heralds a new era of progress and prosperity unmatched since the creation of the state in 1991.
"There is stark contrast between the current government in kebbi State and it's predecessors", the commissioner said.
He said the administration's remarkable trajectory signifies the beginning of series of transformative initiatives planned by the government to rectify past inadequacies and propel the state towards a brighter future.
"We expected the positions in the state to support the effort of the administration in the face of its gargantuan achievements rather than gloating over issues that deserves condemnation by all.
"What we expect a credible opposition to do is to take government to task on the fundamentals of development and not on mundane and insignificant issues", he said.
