KHA member, Maisudan distribute foodstuffs to constituents

A member of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Barrister Faruku Abubakar Maisudan has distributed varieties of food items to people of his constituency in Dakingari area of Kebbi State.


The lawmaker who is the Chairman House Committees on Justice, Judiciary and Rural Community Development, while distributing the assorted grains to his people in Dakingari town said it was to cushion the effects of the economic hardship being faced by the people  and for the spirit of the ongoing holy month of Ramadan.


A release by Ahmad Usman Mairukubta, the S.A on Media and Publicity to Hon Maisudan said the distribution was the first phase of the food items the lawmaker plans to distribute to his people. "God willing more are on the way. I have plans to distribute more foods to my people.



"We will ensure that more people in various groups, such as scholars,  orphans, women and vulnerable in the communities benefit from the food items", he said.


The legislator representing Suru Constituency in the state assembly said the palliative distribution was in furtherance of his determination to support and improve the living conditions of his constituents particularly the orphans, widows, vulnerable and party faithfuls.


The APC chairman for Suru Local Government, Alhaji Bako Bala Takaliya, commended Maisudan for the pallative. He said the lawmaker is always identifying with his people and as well hardworking in his legislative activities.


"You always distribute food items to the needy in the month of Ramadan. May the Almighty Allah continue to bless you", the party chairman said.



Dignitaries at the foodstuffs distribution ceremony includes religious leaders, party leaders, government functionaries and traditional rulers.
