The Governor while reacting to the appeal court judgement on Friday said" Today, the appeal court gave judgement in my favour, this is not only for me but for Kebbi people, APC and Almighty Allah".

The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja on Friday in it's ruling upheld the judgement earlier delivered by the election petition tribunal in favour of Governor Nasiru Idris.

The Governor said with the judgement, "I know it's only God that can stop me from doing what I'm doing for the people of kebbi State.

"I will continue with the capital projects, security and other projects that have direct bearing with the life of our people," he said

He called on the oppositions in the state to join hands with the APC led government in it's bids to serve and give dividends of democracy to people of the state.

Governor Idris commended the judiciary for allowing the truth to prevail and the APC, state assembly members for standing firmly with his administration throughout the legal tussle.
