A lawmaker, representing Dandi constituency in kebbi State House of Assembly, Dr Abubakar Sulaiman Fana has enjoined people of the state to use the Sallah festivity period to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dr Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu) to succeed in their efforts and determination to make Kebbi State and Nigeria better.
The lawmaker in his Sallah message to people of his constituency said the president and Governor have within the short period they assumed offices demonstrated their commitment to lift the state and country out of its present predicament and make life better for the people.
He said what they needed from people of the state and other Nigerians now is prayers for the leaders to succeed as they are making efforts to ensure people live a better life.
"I therefore called on people to use this Sallah period to offer prayers for their successes.
"From every indication they have started well, we should pray to Allah to give them the opportunity to make life better for the people", Dr Fana said.
He reassured people of his constituency of his determination and commitment to their progress, development and that of Kebbi State in general while serving them in the state assembly.
Dr Suleiman Fana also felicitate with people of his constituency on the occasion of this year's Sallah celebration. He pray Allah to grant them the dua and blessings of the period.
