The All Progressives Congress National Integrity Movement (ANIM) on Sunday appointed it's state and local government executives to canvass votes and coordinate campaign for the party's presidential candidate, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, governorship candidate, Nasiru Idris, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and other candidates of the party in kebbi State in the general elections.

Speaking during the presentation of letter of appointment to It's executive members, national coordinator of ANIM, Alhaji Sadiq Fakai said the cardinal principle of the movement is to canvass votes and support for the APC and it's candidates at the state and national levels.

He enjoined them to go from wards to local governments and state to national levels to enlightened people, youths and women on the need to vote the APC candidates in the 2023 elections in the state.

He said "Our party candidates have track records and achievements in their services to the State and the nation. "You need to enlightened people about them. They should know what our presidential candidate did in Lagos when he was governor for eight years, let people know about the achievements of Governor Bagudu, the good things he is doing for Kebbi people".

He charged members of the movement to make the impact of their commitment felt in their respective communities for the success of the party and it's candidates in Kebbi State.

"The resources are there for us to work with but we need to justify our commitment for the success of our party in coming elections", he said.

He said more than any government in the history of Nigeria, the President Muhammadu Buhari's administration has performed credibly well given the various achievements it has recorded in the last seven years of its stewardship to the nation.

"Because of the resilience of Bagudu's administration, many industries have sprang up in Kebbi, his agricultural program has brought fame and wealth to the state.

"You need to equip yourselves with all the great achievements of this party, it's elected leaders and candidates for you to be able to enlighten people in your communities.

"There is need for APC governments at the state and national levels to continue the good service they are rendering to this state and the nation", he said.

Earlier, the deputy women leader of APC in the north west zone, Hajiya Aisha Magawatta  called on women to come out and embrace the APC. She said gone are the days when women remain at the background during political campaign in the state. "It's time for you to come out and take the center space in this campaign. APC must retain power for people to continue to enjoy the dividend of democracy in Kebbi and at the national level", she said.

In his address, the former youth leader and SA to Governor Bagudu, Abdul Rahman Manga enjoined members of the movement to commit themselves to ANIM's project to secure the state and nation for APC and it's candidates. He said no government has committed so much resources to helping people like the APC governments led by Buhari at the national level and that of Bagudu in Kebbi State. "As we worked for Buhari and Bagudu to win two consecutive terms, lets work towards our party winning from top to bottom this time again", he said.
