We Will Partner KECHEMA To Impact On Poor, Vulnerable In Kebbi -SOCU


State Monitoring and Evaluation/MIS officer of the State Operation Coordinating Unit (SOCU), Muhammad Armiyau Ladan has said it would continue to collaborate with any organization or individuals that are willing to impact on the lives of the poor and vulnerable households in kebbi State.

He made this known while receiving the Executive Secretary of KECHEMA Dr Jafar Augie and the agency Directors who paid him a courtesy call to request quality statewide Data of poor and vulnerable households and individuals for inclusion in the Basic Healthcare Provision Funds (BHCPF) by the federal government.


Armiyau noted that SOCU was established by the federal Government with the mandate of providing quality register of the poor and vulnerable households/individuals in the state.


Dr Jafar explained that the federal government under new National Health Insurance Act NHIA 2022 promised to capture 83 million (Eighty three million) vulnerable  through States Social Health Insurance Schemes inline with the mission of ensuring UHC for all Nigerians by 2030.


He thanked the Unit for considering his request while assuring that KECHEMA is ready to use the register to enroll the poor and vulnerable who are the target in the next enrolment exercise.
