A 17-year-old marriage has hit the rock as the union between Mr. Oladiran Olaniyi Micheal, and his estranged wife, Oladiran Oluwatoyin Josephine came to an end over accusation and counter-accusation of gay practices as alleged by the hubby.
According to a close source, a family friend, he said trouble started when the hubby, Mr. Oladiran Olaniyi Micheal found his wife in the company of female friends in a get-to-gether party practising lesbianism.
He said the man had been suspecting his wife, Oladiran Oluwatoyin Josephine, aged 49 years, who longer allowed him to sleep with her for some time, and this led to suspicion of the wife having an illicit affair with another man.
According to our source, he said, “Mr. Oladiran Micheal has been suspecting his wife, believing that she was into a relationship with another man when Oluwatoyin Josephine, a mother of three no longer allowed him to touch her at home whenever he demands for sexual intercourse. The wife not knowing that her hubby has placed her under surveillance left home one day, with the excuse of going to church for a program.
“Immediately she left home, the husband went after her and traced her to a location at 13, Adekoya Street, Ejigun Agbede Ogun State. At the address, what the man saw was too much for him to bear and that was the genesis of the collapse of a 17 years marriage having discovered his wife in the company of some ladies at a private party practicing Gay among themselves.”
He stressed further that when he got there, he asked the security man if he was looking for the owner of the apartment that was how he opened the gate for him up and he entered and gained access to the party. Immediately he saw his wife in the company of other females, doing their business as usual, that was how he got infuriated and created a huge scene before he was taken out of the party. That was the beginning of an end to their relationship that has produced three beautiful kids.
“Seeing an array of beautiful Lesbians and also, his wife putting on another outfit different from what she wore from home did break him and he vowed to kill his wife if the woman ever steps into their matrimonial home again.
”We learned the incident at the party made Josephine abandon her home and fled for safety as the husband was full of rage coupled with society's position towards gay practice in Nigeria, especially in the south-western part of Nigeria where such is considered as a sin against God and an immoral act against their culture.
Our source said Oladiran a freight forwarder has taken the wife's luggage and belongings to her family's house threatening to kill her if she dares come back to his house and told the wife’s family it was over between them.
Lesbianism is an act that is not acceptable in Nigeria, why many wondered what could have made a married woman and a mother of three engaged in such an act, Josephine too on her side has told those close to her that her husband drove her into it having suffered domestic violence in marriage for years before she met friends that initiated her into the act.
According to a close source, upon the dissolution of her marriage, as the husband continued to threaten her life, she relocated overseas to run for safety.
