The All Progressives Congress (APC) Board of Trustee Chairman in Kebbi State, Alhaji Sani Zauro on Thursday said he was mocked by people that despite his support and closeness to Governor Abubakar Bagudu his government still denied him Hajj seat.
He said though he was pained by the way and manner he was denied the Hajj seat at the eleventh hours he however took solace in the fact that it was the will of God.
He said "Initially it pained me that despite my support for Bagudu government I was denied this year's Hajj seat but I let go of the pain when I realized that the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation who is the Amir Hajj in Kebbi state and his people were also denied the Hajj seat.
"If the minister is denied Hajj seat why should I complain. But what I want people to know is that Governor Bagudu did not know anything about it. Its the handiwork of some people in his government ," he said.
"I have left everything to God and I also left those who denied me the Hajj in the hands of God. I know God will accord me reward of the Hajj even though they didn't allow me to go and perform it", Sani Zauro said.
