Gov Bagudu swears-in 3 new high court judges, 1 Khadi

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State on Thursday swore in two newly appointed High Court Judges and a Khadi for the state Sharia Court.

The three new High Court Judges are  Justice Hassan Shehu Kuwa, H
Justice Maryam Abubakar Kaoje, Justice Shamsudeen Jafar, and Nasir Umar Zagga as Khadi of the State Sharia Court of Appeal.
The oath of office was administered to the three justices by the State Chief Justice, Suleiman Muhammed Ambursa at the Government House's Chamber in Birnin Kebbi.

Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu enjoined the newly appointed judges to be upright in the discharge of their duties.
He said the judicial institution is built on justice, he charged them to put heads together to build a vibrant judiciary for the dispensation of justice in kebbi State high court and Sharia courts.
Bagudu recalled that some unforeseen circumstances like the COVID-19 pandemic and the prevailing security challenges, as well as the justice reforms, had placed more formidable responsibilities on the judiciary.
