All roads will lead to Rowe Park Sports Centre, Yaba, Lagos as ABD AZEEZ Islamic Foundation will hold her Maolud Nabbiy celebration, Turbaning and Islamic merit award ceremony this weekend.
According to a statement signed by As-Sheik Mohammed Jamiu Abdul Azeez Oloyede aka Ciroma, the founder and missioner of the Islamic group said, the event is meant to celebrate Muslims and others that have contributed immensely in one way or the other towards the development of Islam and humanity.
The three in one programme is meant to kick start by 11am on Sunday 12, December 2021.
He said, “Appreciation, extending hands of gratitude is an act of ibadah Almighty Allah is well pleased with. ABD AZEEZ Islamic foundation over the years has taken it upon herself to appreciate people with merit awards as a token to encourage them in their good deeds towards the propagation of Islam.
“This year’s edition will come in a different dimension, we have added colour to what we have been doing for over 18 years. At our foundation, our quest is to win more souls to the path of Allah, teach the old and young the ways of the holy prophet through Arabic and Islamic studies with lectures and symposiums for the benefit of mankind."
Among the beneficiaries are as follows; HRH Oba Sulaimon Raji Adeshina, Oniba Ekun of Iba Land, Alhaji Yusuf Ayinla aka Anobi Mushin, Chief Mrs. Riskat Adenike Lawal, Iyalode of Owu Kingdom, Alhaji Ibrahim Olanrewaju Tidibodo, Cheif Sulaimon Olaomo, Alhaji Lateef Alade Sodiq, and many others.
