HRM Oba Kabiru Alani Agbabiaka, the Osolo of Isolo, has reiterated support for Prince Nurudeen Olalekan Alade Saliu as the Oloworo-Elect.
In an interview in his Palace, Oba Agbabiaka implored the aggrieved
sides to bury their sword and join other members of the family to endorse the
Oloworo-Elect in the move to be the second Oloworo.
He, however, urged the
state government to hasten the process of installing Omooba Nurudeen Olalekan
Alade Saliu, Elebo (L'Oworo) II; as the family had perfected its side.
Oba Osolo, who doubled as the Head of the Saliu Ruling House of Oworonsoki Royal family in Kosofe LGA, noted that he did not single-handedly select, Prince Nurudeen, but a decision of all the Members of the family, who presented the Consensus candidate to him for endorsement and blessings.
According to the Isolo Monarch, endorsement of Nurudeen was also in the presence of members of the family led by the eldest member of the family, Alhaja Chief Mrs. Salawatu Akindele.
Osolo, however, warned those who insisted on creating disunity and unwarranted vacuum in a well-structured and peaceful family of the Late HRM. Alayeluwa Oba Basir Oloruntoyin Saliu, the demised Oloworo of Oworosoki.
